Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I once believed that becoming a full time author was an unattainable goal, lofty and impossible. But, through a happy turn of fate, I found an amazing tribe that opened my eyes to the possibility of a whole new life.

You might be surprised, but a lot of my autobiographical stories begin with, "So, a friend of mine from Burning Man..." and this story does, too.

So, a friend of mine from Burning Man was working on a fundraiser to help save his mother-in-law's home in Armenia. It started with a GoFundMe page, then came two fundraising anthologies (Hellcats & Hellhounds), and then it morphed into something phenomenal. Over 20 authors, one publisher, and amazing developmental editor banded together to write four series of post apocalyptic magic -- all for Erada. He put a shout out for authors to submit their work and I thought to myself, "Self, you're a writer, you're just not published yet." So, I started typing. I whipped a little something up and was onboarded between Hellcats and Hellhounds.

The decision to donate my time and energy -- a lot of time and energy -- to the project was the best decision I have ever made. So far, I worked for over six months, 4-8 hours a day, and have been rewarded with an international tribe of talented and supportive individuals, a master class in the art of the novel, and the holy grail, my very own book deal.

Again, thank you. I would be adrift without your support and encouragement.
